Who is Jack?
Jack is one of the writing names of Paul Garrety.

He lives with his delightful (and talented) wife Annie, on the Blackall Ranges overlooking the Qld's Sunshine Coast (Australia) and now writes full time. He teaches creative writing to U3A members at the University of Sunshine Coast and also works as a story consultant for authors and writers of all genres.
Paul (Jack) has won numerous writing competitions both here and overseas as well as being published in over a dozen short story anthologies. He has been awarded two writing residencies: Olvar Wood Retreat as well as two weeks at the KSP Writing Centre in Perth.

Jack(Paul) is also an accredited yoga teacher and registered yoga therapist with Yoga Australia specialising in clients over 60 years.

He loves, in no particular order: bushwalking, his family, meditation, dogs and, when in the mood, getting out two of the very few instruments that can be played without knowing how - the symphonic gong and American Indian flute.
